First Last Friday Art Show at Steeplechase

Last Fridays at Steeplechase will highlight artists and their work, plus a little wine. The first one is on Friday, August 26, at 8pm, and it will feature neighbor Patti Maciesz. She'll be exhibiting a really cool series of works she made based on some film negatives she found in Paris, which she then painted as she saw them (in negative), then scanned and processed the paintings to create the positive prints.

Patti's got a Kickstarter fundraiser going through August 22, and though she's already surpassed her goal for supplies she needs for the show, you can still contribute. For a $25 donation, you receive an 8x10" print of one of the images she'll be showing.
