Flying Teapot Fall Music Classes for Kids

Joanne Riel has announced the fall season of music classes for kids in her new Windsor Terrace space near the Vanderbilt Playground. There are classes scheduled for babies, toddlers, and mixed ages. If you are interested in arranging a small group or private class, or you have special-needs children who might require special considerations, contact her, and she'll be able to work with you.

Baby Flying Teaspoons
Recommended for babies birth - 14 mos.
Mondays, Sept 12 - Oct 3; 3:30 - 4.:15pm
Wednesdays, Sept 14 - Oct. 5; 4:30 - 5:15pm
Saturdays, Sept 17 - Oct 15; 10:00 - 10:45am (no class October 8, Yom Kippur)
4 weeks $70 (Flying Teapot CD included); $60 if you already have the CD; sibling rate $5/class drop-ins (if space available) $20/class
Encourage your child's uniqueness and creativity from the very start of life. Songs emerge magically as your baby discovers, plays and interacts in class. Musical connections nurture and deepen relationships between parent/caregiver and baby and friends. Joanne's CD The Flying Teapot is used along with traditional and multicultural music. There's movement, instrument play, balls, scarves, connections and fun! You'll be amazed at your child's own expression. Joanne's vision is to create nurturing and joyful environments for babies and very young children.

Toddler Flying Teapot
Recommended for 14 - 20 mos.

Join us for this magical class with original music and a creative spirit. Trains and toys can be used to engage your child in comfortable ways while we expand into musical play. Songs are created out of your child's interests. Joanne's CD as well as traditional and multicultural music is also used. Includes favorites like The Train Song, Potty Song, and the ever popular Roll me Round, a ball song.

Family Flying Teapot
Recommended for mixed ages
Saturdays, Sept 17 - Oct 15: 11:00- 11:45 am (no class Oct 8th, Yom Kippur)

What will emerge as children play together with instruments and sounds and toys? A song about where they like to go in the car? A special way of jumping? Building a house for their brother or sister? Come join us and see what happens. Joanne's CD as well as traditional and multicultural music is used as well. You'll be amazed at the creativity of your child!
