Free Self-Defense Class at the Y This Sunday

Just because another sexual assault suspect was nabbed this week, it doesn't mean we shouldn't continue to arm ourselves with tools that can help keep us safe.

The Kings Bay Y at Windsor Terrace presents a free self-defense class by Mel Ramsay, an experienced self-defense instructor, this Sunday, October 23 from 1 to 3pm.

Members of K9WaTch will be present to answer questions and sign up volunteers, and Assemblyman Jim Brennan and Councilmember Brad Lander are scheduled to attend to participate in a dialogue on crime prevention.
