In response to calls for action against a possible serial rapist, Councilwoman Sara Gonzalez of neighboring District 38 has organized a series of self-defense classes for local women.
The non-profit Center for Anti-Violence (CAE) and CrossFit718 are the first to offer the classes, though more may be added soon.
Classes with CrossFit718 begin Saturday, September 10, at 1pm.
