Gallop NYC Horse Show in Prospect Park

Gallop NYC Horse Show in Prospect Park

This Sunday, June 20th, the therapeutic riding program at Kensington Stables, Gallop NYC, is hosting its annual Horse Show in Prospect Park (see map link below). Come out and see what it is all about; watch as the kids show off their equestrian skills. Crafts, puppets, snacks, and HORSES! From Alicia Kershaw:

Excitement is mounting for Ride with Pride, and the weather forecast is good.
Each child will ride for about 15 minutes, with an instructor, demonstrating the skills they have learned.

At 12:30 the entire cast will assemble for a brief parade and the awarding of ribbons by our VIPs.  These include Marty Markowitz, Brad Lander, Jim Brennan and Kevin Jeffrey.   As well as the show,  you can enjoy our crafts booth, try on our puppets, munch snacks and/or lunch from Crossroads Café, find bargains at a books, tack and riding gear sale, learn about composting, and enjoy a lovely day in the Park with horses.

Directions: The show is at the open area between the "Peristyle" and the Lake, off East Drive.  You can enter at the Pergola next to the Parkside Subway stop or at Park Circle near the stable, or off Parkside near Parade Place.

Here is a map link. Please bring family and friends to enjoy this wonderful day.
