Green-Wood Commemorates 235th Anniversary of the Battle of Brooklyn

Green-Wood Cemetery hosts a lot of great events throughout the year, but the Battle of Brooklyn Commemoration is one not to miss. This year the Green-Wood Historic Fund will commemorate the Battle of Brooklyn's 235th Anniversary with re-enactments, a parade, and a ceremony to honor the patriots who fought the first battle of the American Revolution in 1776 on this sacred ground.

12:30pm Re-enactors will demonstrate Revolutionary War weaponry

2pm Battle of Brooklyn Commemorative Ceremony
