Greenwood Playground August Calendar of Events

Here are the events the Friends of Greenwood Playground have coming up in August at the playground, on East 5th Street between Fort Hamilton and Greenwood Ave:

UPDATE: Event moved to Saturday, August 13, 8:30pm
The first family movie night at Greenwood Playground! Movie is TBA but will be a family-friendly film. Bring chairs, blankets, snacks, and don't forget bug repellent! Movie starts at 9pm. They are also looking for a few volunteers. Please email greenwoodfriendsfunds@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out!

Sunday, August 7, 2pm
The East 4th Street Community Garden presents native plant workshop. Ages 4+. Meet at the chess tables.

Wednesday, August 10, 10am
Singalong with Debbie Deane. Ages 0+. Meet at the flagpole.

Saturday, August 13, 1pm
Make mail with Melissa Lohman Wild of Viva Snail Mail, ages 3+. Also, Super Camp Craft with Dari of KWT Craftwork, ages 6+. All meet at the chess tables.

Monday, August 29, 11am
Swedish Marionette Theatre presents "Bessie's Big Shot." All ages.
