Holiday Light Spectacular Grand Opening on Monday
One of the coolest holiday light displays in the city is right in our backyard, and the grand unveiling is this Monday. The "Holiday Light Spectacular" is an intricate, animated light show in front of 310A 22nd Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues). Chris Schneider and Ryan Powers harness their theatrical backgrounds (and construction skills) to create an impressive--and maybe a little crazy--holiday show that loops every 20 minutes.
“As crazy as we might be, there are people out there crazier — we’re only crazy for a couple months,” Schneider told the Daily News.
They keep a tight lid on what the theme of the show will be, so you'll have to stop by to check it out for yourself starting Monday, December 12. The show runs from 5 to 10pm on weeknights and until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
