Rob Kimmel of Windsor Terrace runs an independent design studio, teaches at Pratt, and, no surprise, has a son as creative as himself. Together they form the blog Wander Monster, a daily exercise in drawing. Every day of school, Rob places a sticky-note with a half-complete drawing inside his son's lunchbox for the boy to finish. At the end of the day Rob posts the completed comic. Each piece is as charming and silly as you would imagine. They've been working on the project since kindergarten, and the son is now in the second grade--we hope they keep it up for years to come!
