* The MTA will completely shut down service if sustained winds reach above 39 miles per hour.
* Buses, however, will continue to operate to aid any evacuation orders from the mayor and governor.

* Flooding is a possibility on subway tracks--help prevent it by leaving no trash on the train, which can get trapped in drainage boxes.
* Bridges may have to close if the winds are too strong.

* Alternate side parking regulations are suspended citywide on Saturday and Monday. Parking meters will also be suspended citywide on these dates.
