Kensington Felony Crime for Jan. 24 to 30 + Misdemeanor stats

The 66 Precinct reported 2 felonies took place in Kensington last week. The misdemeanor info for the entire 66th Precinct is from the weekly figures it posts at its site.  These are always a week behind.  So far, the 66th hasn't offered to incorporate Kensington's misdemeanor figures in its weekly Kensington breakout.

Wed. January 26 Robbery @ E. 9th Street, 9:40 a.m. (no cross street given).
Wearing a black mask, a man gained entrance to an apartment by pushing woman in and to the floor. Her family was there and perp threatened to kill them with knife he was carrying. Perp fled through front door without taking any property.  No one was injured.  No arrest.


Fri. January 28 Burglary @ 705 McDonald Ave bet Cortelyou & Ditmas avenues.
Unknown perp entered a business in a commercial building and stole safe and vehicle. According to owner, 20 people have access to the garage.  No arrest.
