Livery Cabs

Now that the mayor's plan to legalize livery cab street hails has died, folks in the outer boroughs are going to have to stick with what we've got: yellow cabs that don't pull over for you, or a call to a faithful car service company.

WNYC took a look at how livery cars stack up against the metered rates of yellow cabs, and found that you'll do better, on average, with liveries. The graphic above calculated the average Brooklyn car services fares from the companies listed below on April 4.
