Open House New York (OHNY), taking place the weekend of October 15-16, gives you free access to a variety of places that you can't normally see, in addition to free tours, talks, performances, and family activities. Some interesting ones that are happening nearby:
* The Green-Wood Cemetery Trolley Tour will also give a peek inside the Catacombs on Saturday and Sunday at noon.
* Victorian Flatbush House Tour with Brooklyn Borough Historian Ron Schweiger, Saturday and Sunday at 10am.
* The Lefferts Historic House Tour will provide a look at the basement and attic, which are normally off-limits, on Saturday and Sunday at noon.
