Jerry Krone from the Kensington Action Force sends this alert:

On Tuesday, September 6, 2011, people rang the doorbell of a Kensington resident and KAF member. Behind him was a large white truck with no identification.


He claimed to be a roofer coming to do work on the house.

When pressed for the name of his company he and his "co-workers" quickly retreated.


Beware. Unless you are expecting a service do not open the door.

The NYPD 66 precinct was alerted, albeit via their answering machine. A request was made to bring the message to the attention of 66 precinct commanding officer Dep. Inspector Sprague.
