Lots of interesting workshops, including "People, Plants, and Politics in NYC"; "Farming in Brooklyn,"; "Park Smarts: Getting Involved in Local Open Spaces"; "Starting a Street-Tree Stewardship Project"—in other words, many on subjects near and dear to Kensington activists. The take-away is free baby plants, she writes.
