Man Killed When Truck Turns Onto Ocean Parkway: NYPD
A truck making a right turn onto Ocean Parkway slammed into a pedestrian and killed him Tuesday night, police said.

KENSINGTON, BROOKLYN — A man died when he was hit by truck turning onto Ocean Parkway Tuesday night, said police.
The man was crossing Ocean Parkway near Church Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. when he was rammed into by a box truck making a right turn, said police.
Emergency responders rushed the man — who had severe head injuries — to Methodist Hospital but doctors were unable to save his life, police said.

The 57-year-old truck driver had been traveling west on Church before he made his right turn onto the Prospect Expressway, police said.
No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning but the NYPD continued to investigate, police said.

The victim had not been identified as of 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
