This weekend, Green-Wood Cemetery commemorates the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War with a series of events.
On Sunday including the Grand Procession winds past thousands of candlelit graves of Civil War veterans, and on Monday and the March of Honor includes artillery rifle salutes and musical tributes and followed by the 13th annual concert in the afternoon. Additionally, starting on Saturday and running through June 28, you can check out a rare exhibit of Civil War memorabilia, including two authentic Civil War cannons and life-sized zinc sculptures of Union soldiers.
