Murrow H.S. To Host First-Ever String Concert!

Edward R. Murrow High School is hosting its first-ever String Festival. About 200 students will participate, with groups from all over the five boroughs joining Murrow’s musicians to play American music ranging from jazz, to bluegrass and folk, to Michael Jackson and modern American composers. The finale will include 100 students playing a Boogie Woogie tune with the world famous violinist Mark O'Connor.

WHEN: Saturday, June 15th, from 9a.m. – 2 p.m.

Mark O’Connor will be playing at 1p.m.
