Fort Hamilton Parkway is about to get a new beauty salon. Nails By Amy will open this weekend, most likely Sunday, on the block between East 3rd and 4th Streets, and they'll do manicures, pedicures, messages, and more. This is another shop by the same people who run the Amy's on Church between East 4th and 5th.
I took a peak inside, and it looks really nice--a complete makeover of the old office of Bill de Blasio, our former City Councilman who vacated the space when he because Public Advocate last year.
