Supercute alert: The Brooklyn Paper is reporting that four baby geese were born in Prospect Park, despite all the efforts to prevent that from happening. And to celebrate, they're holding a contest:
Send your suggested name for this bird to newsroom@cnglocal.com. We’ll present the best 10 names to the Prospect Park Alliance, and if the name sticks, we’ll make sure you get more than a little bird feed (by the way, it’s wrong to feed geese in the park — but you knew that!).
My suggestion, which you can feel free to steal, is "Bumps," as in, "Look, there's that goose Bumps." Okay, admittedly it's not great. You got something better?
