Deputy Inspector John J. Sprague, commander of the 66th Precinct, called Officer Frank M. Bolusi a man “dedicated (to 9/11 recovery) even to the point of jeopardizing his own health.” Among the 10 men recognized by Mayor Bloomberg last week for their work at the World Trade Center, Officer Bolusi died of lung cancer last January, the final outcome of his WTC service. He had worked at the 66 Precinct in the mid '90s for a year and a half. According to Inspector Sprague, Officer Bolusi was "one of those who showed up (at WTC), worked his 8- to 10-hr shift, slept there and then went back to work.”
