At the next Albemarle Neighborhood Association's (ANA) meeting, Lance Abrams of the NYC Department of Finance will describe how they arrive at valuations for privately owned homes, condos and coops. (Tentative assessments were released in January and unchallenged finalized versions in May. The property tax year begins July 1.)
The next ANA meeting will take place on Thursday, April 22, from 7-8 p.m. at the Flatbush & Shaare Torah Jewish Center, 327 E. 5th Street, corner of Church Avenue. (Please use wheelchair-accessible entrance on the ground floor.) All members and nonmember visitors are welcome (free). Refreshments will be provided by Foodtown and ANA.
