Saturday, April 9th is the Opening Day Little League Parade. Although baseball and softball players march down 7th Avenue in neighboring Park Slope, many Windsor Terrace youth will be in the parade. Ivonne Nunez-Rosario, the parade coordinator tells us: “The parade will begin at 10:00am at 7th Avenue and 1st Street and continue up 9th Street into Prospect Park ending at the band shell. Remarks will be given by civic leaders at the band shell.”
Baseball games will start at noon in the Long Meadow in Prospect Park.
