Pavilion Closer to Renovation

Pavilion Closer to Renovation

Steve emails that FIPS has word from a tipster that the long-beleaguered Pavilion Cinema is really actually truly doing some kind of vague renovation. The kid at the candy counter divulged the secrets:

He said that this new corp has plans to, at minimum, re-paint the entire joint and hinted at a "nice" makeover.

You may remember they were picking out paint colors back in February, but since then the theatre was picked up by a different management company. This new, unknown mystery company has a district manager named Michael O’Brien who recently admitted his company's CEO was psyched to be running "Atlas Shrugged" at the Pavilion--the only place in Brooklyn that showed the stinker, and even then, it only ran for a week. Hey, if they're willing to take that kind of risk, maybe they're crazy enough to actually go through with some seriously nice renovations!
