The title makes it sound more exciting than I think it was, but last Thursday afternoon a low-speed police chase down Ocean Parkway started after Yehuda Bernstein cut off an Emergency Services truck on the Prospect Expressway, nearly causing a collision. Bernstein didn't pull over when asked, and then blew through some stop lights.
But the fun wasn’t over: the Emergency Services team yanked the defiant Bernstein out of his car kicking and screaming in order to handcuff him and charge him with misdemeanor reckless endangerment. Bernstein refused to let go of his steering wheel when cops converged on him, witnesses said.
