Police Hunt for Kensington Armed Robbery Suspect

The suspect is wanted for robbing a victim at gunpoint in an Ocean Parkway apartment complex.

Police in the 66th Precinct are asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in a Kensington apartment complex on Aug. 28.

According to police, the suspect approached the victim inside 455 Ocean Parkway at 6:35 p.m., demanding the victim's property while brandishing a firearm. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

Police describe the suspect as a black male standing approximately 6-foot-2. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved, button-down blue shirt and dark jeans.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
