Want to dig in the dirt or build something, but don't want to commit to a long-term project? Prospect Farm has the answer with open work days over the next several weekends. Anyone is welcome to join in any work day--just choose what works best for you and stop by to help.
Volunteers will have the chance to plant vegetables, weed the garden, build compost bins, and more. Among the things you can help with this Sunday, September 18 from 9am to 12pm, are planting peas and lettuce and building lids for the new compost bins.
Kids are welcome for some of the days, but for days when there are tools around, it might not be the best to bring children--contact prospectfarmbk@gmail.com for more info.
