PS 154 PTA's Jazz Night Out: Save the Music Program
The PS 154 PTA is having a very jazzy fundraiser tonight to benefit the school's music program.
The Jerome Sabbagh Quartet is playing the benefit at Union Hall in Park Slope at 7:30pm. This quartet is a new electric project led by saxophonist and Park Slope resident Jerome Sabbagh, and made possible with support from Chamber Music America and French American Cultural Exchange's CMA/FACE French-American Jazz Exchange Program, funded through the generosity of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, Le Bureau Export de la Musique Francaise, and CulturesFrance.
All proceeds will serve to fund the PTA-funded music program provided by Music Wizards Inc. and directed by Sabbagh.
You can pick up tickets today at the PS 154 schoolyard or at the Union Hall website.
