Neighbor Lyndsey, along with at least 50 other people, will be throwing 1,000 punches (to the air) to raise money for the Center for Anti-Violence Education (CAE):
Our fundraising goal for this year is $50,000, so we need all the help we can get to reach this goal! The money you pledge will help keep programming free or at low cost for those who could not otherwise afford to participate and for survivors of various forms of violence.
You can find information on how to donate or how to register to punch at the Punch-a-thon website. Along with a mini self-defense course, there will be a raffle and silent auction of prizes, including flying trapeze classes, local restaurant gift certificates, cookbooks, JackRabbit sports, and many others!
