The Tragic Story of Doctor Frankenstein, a new play directed by neighbor Edward Elefterion of Kensington based Rabbit Hole Ensemble, Brooklyn Paper writes up:
Award-winning, innovative Brooklyn-based theater company Rabbit Hole Ensemble (RHE) is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a year-long, two-part exploration of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The piece — the first installment of which will premiere at Brooklyn Arts Exchange in Park Slope on Oct. 28 — will be a gender-bending horror that casts Dr. Frankenstein as a Columbia University coed, and her monster as a Linda Blair-esque young girl.
This production will focus on the doctor’s story; the second installment, coming in 2011, will tell the same story from the monster’s perspective.
