Registration Open for Derby Fit at Greenwood Playground

Skate yourself fit this fall at Greenwood Playground! Registration is now open for the fall session of the ladies-only Derby Fit program, which starts on September 10.

Derby Fit, a program adapted from roller derby drills, is run by Ariel Assault, the current Head of Coaching for the Gotham Girls Roller Derby League. Classes are non-contact and perfect for beginning skaters--you don't need to be a master skater, but you do need to keep yourself upright on eight wheels. The program is designed to help you build strength while working out on and off skates.

Cost: $145, plus required personal equipment
