The project of repaving Church Avenue on the other side of CIA has started, read on for details from Church Avenue BID:
Starting Friday April 23rd, DOT road repair crews will be working on Church Avenue from Flatbush Avenue to Coney Island Avenue to remove the roadway surface as part of a resurfacing project. From 6pm to 6am there will be no parking on certain blocks of Church Ave. while the roadway surface is removed.
Our understanding is that the road will remain open to traffic and there will be no disruptions to bus service during this time. DOT is planning to start the project at the corner of Church and Flatbush Avenues working toward Coney Island Avenue. Work will only be done at night and on weekdays. DOT expects to complete the removal portion of the project by Thursday morning (4/29).
