Ring Your Bells @ Winter Solstice Celebration Dec 21!!

An E. 4th Street Community gardener emails this announcement of a Winter Solstice Celebration next Tuesday, December 21 starting at 6 p.m. at the E. 4th Street Community Garden. Everyone's invited.

"Plan on ringing the bells (Bring your own) at 6:38 p.m., the darkest time of the longest night of the year...and the precise time when the sun stops before reversing its direction, bringing the light back toward us!

We will light candles, drink whatever warm & hot treats we can conjure up, enjoy each other's company and give in to our inner celebratory spirits with other unprecedented delights!

Please bring whatever merriment your heart delights in! This can include eatables, instruments for music and noise making, candles and/lanterns...the possibilities are endless!"
