The Brooklyn Supreme dismissed the lawsuit challenging the Prospect Park West bike lane last night, allowing the controversial green path to remain.
The City had argued that project was implemented in response to community requests and concerns to enhance safety along Prospect Park West, and that they had considered a large amount of feedback from the community.
But some in the community disagree. Jim Walden, who represented the Neighbors for Better Bike Lanes and Seniors for Safety, the groups who brought the suit to court, is to be considering their next steps.
