Search Continues for Missing Boy

A massive search is still underway over a large portion of our area after a 9-year-old boy never returned home last night after day camp. Leiby Kletzky, pictured above, was last seen on 12th Avenue and 44th Street at about 5pm Monday. Boro Park Scoop reports he was wearing "black sneakers, navy pants, grey and white blue striped shirt, and has light brown hair, and has black glasses." He is between 4'0"-4'4" tall and weighs about 50 pounds. There are also reports he was carrying a blue backpack with the words 'Nechmod Day Camp' on it.

A $5,000 reward is being offered by Assemblyman Dov Hikind for information leading to the safe return of Kletzky.

Volunteers who would like to help with the search should head to a command post that has been set up on 15th Avenue and 57th Street.

If you have any information, please contact police at 718-851-5641 or the Boro Park Shomrim at 718-871-6666.
