When neighbor Ora Warmflash was trying to get back into shape after pregnancy, she found a lack of nutritional counseling options that met her goals. So she got together with best friend Rachel Saks and created tABLE health, a business that was founded on the premise that fresh, local ingredients are the building blocks of a healthy lifestyle.
Their site has some quick and healthy recipes (the salmon walnut spread sounds great), and helpful tips about the choices we can make with food.
They're also going to be offering environmentally sustainable, nutritionally-focused cooking classes and individual and group consulting. The first class on October 6 in Park Slope will feature fall produce, healthy whole grains, and lean proteins.
