Join neighbors tonight as the new group Safe Slope gathers at the Prospect Avenue subway station to rally against the recent string of assaults in the area.
The rally comes as police reassure the community that they've been working hard to catch as many as three possible suspects. At yesterday's 72nd Police Precinct Community Council Meeting, Commander Raul Pintos said he's personally been walking the streets in plan clothes trying to catch the criminals.
Police will also be on hand to answer questions at Community Board 7's Public Safety Meeting this Tuesday, September 20, at Holy Name Church.
