There's still time to find the perfect pumpkin before Halloween this Monday. Here's where you can pick them up around the neighborhood:
Windsor Terrace Greenmarket: J Glebocki Farms and Williams Fruit both have pumpkins--including some really unusual looking ones--but you only have a little time left. The market shuts down for the day at around 3pm.
KWT Youthmarket: If you can't make it to the Greenmarket today but still want something locally grown, the Youthmarket will have pumpkins for sale this Saturday on Fort Hamilton Parkway at E 5th. Be sure to stop by and tell them how much you enjoyed the market--this Saturday is their last day for the season!
J&L Landscaping on Caton at E 7th: They still have a large amount of pumpkins of the old standard variety, which means lots of options when trying to pick one for a particular carved face you might have in mind.
David Shanon Nursey on Fort Hamilton at Bills Pl: Again, huge selection. Plus they've set up a little pumpkin patch, which is a great photo-op if you've got kids.
Delis on Prospect Park West: Several of the markets on the strip have pumpkins. You'll pay a bit more, but if you're in a pumpkin pinch and need one after the other places have closed, these have you covered.
