A nice—and welcome—surprise from the 66 Precinct PIMS unit. The 66 took 4 crimes in the Kensington area from Monday, May 30 to Saturday, June 4:
Wed., June 1 Grand Larceny on street @ 496 E 4 St bet Av C & Cortelyou Rd
Someone took a computer from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of the E. 4 Street address. No arrest.
Fri., June 3 Robbery. No location given.
Two men demanded a woman’s purse. One man punched her in the face, while the other attempted to take it. Perps were unable to wrest it from her. No arrests.
Fri., June 3 Burglary @ 515 E 7 St bet. Av C & Cortelyou Rd
A fifty yr-old man forced open door and took money from laundry machines. Arrest made on scene.
Sat., June 4 Assault @ corner of Coney Island & Ditmas avenues Two men hit a 32-yr-old man on the head with a bat. Both perps arrested on scene.
