The past 2 weeks of crime in Kensington, Sept 5-18

The 66th Precinct "took" 8 felonies from September 5 to the 18, the PIMS officers said: 4 grand larcenies; 3 robberies, and 1 burglary. Instead of giving specific locations (and times), the crimes are grouped by sectors, G or K, which cover the Kensington area. There are 13 sectors in the 66th Precinct.

SECTOR K    From Monday 9/5 to Sunday 9/11
Caton Ave to Beverley Rd, and from 37 Street to Coney Island Ave
Grand Larceny @ McDonald Av

A woman left her bag unattended while visiting here. Her bag was gone when she returned. No Arrest. 

Grand Larceny @ Caton Ave
A known 22-year-old female perp took a woman’s Apple MacBook and her son’s iPhone. Arrest Made.

SECTOR K    From Monday 9/12 to Sunday 9/18
Robbery (location not identified) A woman says while she was holding a parking spot, two men exited a 1995 Nissan, pushed her to the ground, and took her cell phone. No Arrest.


Grand Larceny on Church Ave (location not identified)
A man said that while exiting a cab, the cab driver drove off with his belongings without waiting to be paid. The belongings included electronics.

SECTOR G   From Monday 9/12 to Sunday 9/18
Beverley Rd to Ave F, and from 37th Street to Coney Island Ave
Robbery @ Cortelyou Rd & E. 9 Street
A civilian says a man grabbed the gold chain s/he was wearing and fled in unknown direction. No Arrest.

Robbery @ Ditmas Ave & E. 8 Street
As a man was walking to the park, another man approached him and demanded his money. When the civilian refused, the perp reached into the man's pocket and took it.

Burglary @ McDonald Ave (location not identified)
While a man was making deliveries, someone entered his vehicle through the front passenger-side door and took items from the vehicle. No Arrest.

Grand Larceny @ Ocean Pkwy (location not identified)
A woman claims someone used her identity to make purchases to her Macy's credit card.
