Tonight's 66 Pct Community Council Meeting Canceled

The 66 Precinct has canceled its December Police Community Council meeting scheduled for this evening at CB 12’s offices, although other nearby precincts held theirs this week. No partying here.

That means you will have to save your questions until Thursday, January 20 at 7:30 when you can ask C.O. Sprague about the 3 rapes that occurred in the 66 in November.  These were posted on CompStat report #47 for November 22–28, 2010 under the "28–day crime complaints."

Another rape occurred last week, according to the most recent CompStat report, #48, covering the week of November 29–December 5 www.nyc.gov/html/nypd/html/precincts/precinct_066.shtml. Emails to the precinct asking for details about these rapes—i.e., location, time, age/sex (?) of victim, whether rape by acquaintance or stranger, condition of victim—have gone unanswered.
