The skinny pug found over the weekend hasn't been claimed by his owner, but Thomas reports that the dog, now known as Scrappy, is feeling more comfortable in his foster home, and he is slowly getting back to good health. From his blog 101 Things in 1001 Days:
He still hasn't put on any fat, but we're feeding him as many calories as we can, and gotten him some nutrition supplements, and he's stronger than he was on Sunday. He's able to get down the few stairs in front of our house, and even jumped off of the bed to greet me with the other dogs yesterday.
He's still hoping to reunite Scrappy with his loving family, but luckily for this little pooch, if that doesn't happen, he's got a great home with Thomas' family (which already has three dogs--including two other pugs)!
