This Lenten season we are snapping pictures of the Virgin Marys who watch over our (traditionally Catholic) neighborhood. The statues are often protected under a grotto and found in front and side yards all over Windsor Terrace. My favorite Mary is this one protecting Little Leaguers at Holy Name Field on 16th Street between Prospect Park West and 10th Ave.
