KARMA is short for the Kensington Area Resident/Merchant Alliance, formed about a year ago, that has been the driving force behind promoting local neighborhood businesses and improving the neighborhood. Ever wonder who was behind planting daffodils in the fall? Speaking up about safety issues at the 66th Precinct? Counting empty tree pits? Spreading the word about local sales and promotions?
I'd like to salute and thank Joy Rich, for all the hard work that has gone in writing about just about every single establishment in Kensington, and promoting them all relentlessly. Do check out KARMA's website at http://karmabrooklyn.blogspot.com, and feel free to email them at karmabrooklyn@gmail.com.
