When School's Out, Pony Time Is In at Kensington Stables

There are so many great programs in the area that your child can take advantage of during the upcoming mid-winter recess, but only one has ponies. The Kensington Stables has a session running February 20-24, for horse enthusiasts between the ages of 6 and 11 years old.

Kids learn hands-on about caring for the horses and the barn, including some of the hard work that goes into caring for horses--but also the advantages that working with animals can bring. There's a lesson on horseback riding every day, plus horse-themed arts and crafts and games.

The week-long program runs from 10am to 4pm, with early drop off and late pickup available. Registration is available online, in person at the stables at 51 Caton Place, or by mail. For more information, call 718-972-4588
