There is a line of quilting fabrics made by Bentarex called "Prospect Park," and several of the quilt patterns designed for the fabrics are inspired by neighborhoods that surround the Park. This one is "Windsor Terrace," and was designed by Peddlecar Quilts. If you were going to represent the neighborhood in quilt form, I don't think you could do much better than this!
If you enjoy quilting or have thought about trying it, the Quilter's Guild of Brooklyn meets, usually, on the third Saturday of the month at Holy Name Church. According to their website, Guild members "represent all ages and levels of quilting experience; advanced as well as beginning quilters find camaraderie and inspiration at guild meetings." The next meeting is May 21.
