Woman Needs 93 Stitches After Brooklyn McDonald's Slashing: NYPD

Police are looking for the man who repeatedly slashed an 18-year-old girl's face outside a Brooklyn McDonald's.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — An 18-year-old girl needed 93 stitches after she was slashed in the face outside a Brooklyn McDonald’s.

Police released photos Monday night of a man who attacked the teenager outside the fast food restaurant on Mermaid and Stillwell avenues at about 5 p.m. on Feb. 9.

The suspect and the teen had been arguing inside the restaurant when she tried to leave and he followed with something sharp, police said.

The man slashed the girl’s face repeatedly then ran east on Mermaid Avenue, said police.

The 18-year-old was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where it took 93 stitches to treat the cuts on her face, said police.

Police are now looking for the suspect, whom they describe as a man in his 30s, standing about 6-feet-tall and last seen wearing a green park with a fur-lined hood.
