Workers Ditched Plows for Kensington Beers
I know it's too nice out today to think about snow, but hey, remember that blizzard and how the streets didn't get plowed for days? Soon after the storm, the Post heard from witnesses who had seen sanitation workers in our neighborhood out buying beer instead of clearing the streets. Now they've gotten their hands on surveillance video from the 18th Avenue bodega, and true enough, there are a couple of guys in uniform purchasing a sixer of Corona, which they say was split between four after their trucks became stuck.
At least they didn't get the makings for margaritas. Can you imagine the hubbub if they'd lined the rims of glasses with salt instead of spreading it on the streets?
