18YO Cortlandt Manor Man Accused Of Driving Without License
Police said they initially stopped the man for a traffic violation.
YORKTOWN, NY — An 18-year-old man was accused driving without a license in Yorktown. Police said Cortlandt Manor resident, whose name was not released due to eligibility for youthful offender status, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and speed in zone, a traffic infraction.
Yorktown police said, around 8:50 p.m. March 1, an officer on patrol on Underhill Avenue said he saw a vehicle that was speeding.
A traffic stop was initiated and further investigation found that the 18-year-old was driving with a suspended license for failing to answer summons.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.
The man was processed and released on $100 bail. He is due back in Yorktown Justice Court April 2.
