19-Year-old Faces 2 Felony Charges

Stephen R. Bauer, 19, of Granite Springs, is due in Yorktown Town Court Sept. 28 to face a charge of third-degree criminal mischief and a fifth-degree charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police received a report Aug. 27 that a passenger in a car had damaged the windshield of another car with a metal object.

An officer canvassing the area saw and stopped a vehicle that matched the victim’s description at 6 p.m.

The passenger, Bauer, possessed a quantity of cocaine, police said.

Bauer was arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail on $5,000 bail.
